Eyeshadow palette of the Season!

Happy 1st of December lovely friends. I think we can all officially start counting down the days till Christmas! I’m very excited and i’m sure a lot of you are too. Tis the season to spend time with loved ones, sharing and giving to the less fortunate, decorating the Christmas trees, buying gifts, getting gifts, cooking up a storm and the list goes.

I digress. I’m here to speak about the Juvia’s Place Nubian 2 palette that has been my favourite go to palette for sometime now. I’ve been on a few Summer trips and this palette never leaves my suitcase! I’ve done a few looks here and there and i’ll definitely be doing lots more for this season, i am obsessed simply put.

Juvia’s Place Nubian 2 palette has twelve great eyeshadows to choose from, they are highly pigmented with huge pans, so it’s almost impossible to get through them haha. Also it’s perfect for travelling as it’s made from a cardboard material, which is lightweight and will fit nicely in your luggage. You can create bold as well as neutral looks, such a versatile palette.

I do have one issue with it which in the grand scale of things is minor but nonetheless it is worth speaking about, just for your knowledge.

You will experience fall outs with some of the eyeshadows. The trick is to either wet your brush before picking up the eyeshadows or do your eye makeup first, then clean up fall outs. There’s another trick too, some people apply their base first then set some powder underneath their eyes to catch the fall outs, personally i don’t do that, i just clean up after i’ve completed my eyes. I guess it’s whatever works for you, but i just thought you ought to know this.

Let’s quickly have a look at this beauty!

As you can see from the swatches, they are absolutely gorgeous and vibrant shades. If you don’t have this as yet, make sure to add to your Christmas wish list, i highly recommend.

Thanks for stopping by!
