Rihanna inspired makeup look

The beautiful and talented Rihanna graced the cover of Vogue Arabia, and she looked as gorgeous as ever! I am most times inspired by her makeup looks, she either keeps it subtle or goes in full force, either way, she can do no wrong.

This time she went for a bold look, and i fell in love with it, so it was only right that i recreated it.

Here’s the break down of this look.

Face- Makeup Forever HD foundation in #175. To set the foundation, Mac mineralise skinfinish in dark deep. I also did a bit of highlighting, which i’m a big fan of, as it seems to give me a more awake look. I used LA girls concealer in fawn and Sacha buttercup powder to set the concealer. Sacha buttercup powder is great for women of colour and i absolutely love using it. I dusted some blusher and highlighter on my cheeks as well.

Eyes- The star of the show. Juvia’s Place Masquerade palette for the blues and Morphe 25A palette for the smokey outer corners. Lashes are from GWA (Girls With Attitude).

Lips- They were more on the neutral side, and you can see why, you don’t wanna take the attention away from the eyes.

There’s a tutorial on my channel for this look, there you’ll see what i did from start to finish. I loved the outcome and i hope you do too. Link is below.

Thanks for indulging me.

Love,

Shaunz

  1. Hey Shauna, I tried reaching you some time ago about a collab but never heard anything back to you. Thought I’d try again via the comments as my mail perhaps didn’t reach you. If you’re open for collabs I’d love to get in touch with you. Feel free to write directly to my email laura@blogerize.com if you’re interested. Thanks 🙂
