Holiday look (green eyes, brown lips)

This is one of my  go to looks for the holidays. Green represents the christmas trees and it is also one of my favourite colours. I tried to make this look achievable and very wearable as well. If you think the eyes are bold enough then you can wear a more subtle colour on the lips.

How to achieve this look:

Always make sure you cleanse, moisturise and prime your skin before any makeup application, this is important as you are protecting your skin as well as providing a great canvas for your makeup.

For foundation i used the Estee Lauder double wear, i love using this foundation as it last for hours, it has great coverage, it doesn’t transfer and it looks beautiful on the skin. As per usual i used Mac Mineralise skinfinish to set and lock the foundation in place. I didn’t contour as i wanted to keep the face quite simple as the eyes and lips would be standing out. However i did highlight very slightly using LA Girls pro concealer in Fawn and Sacha buttercup powder to set the concealer so it doesn’t budge!

For the eyes, i used the Shany 7 layer Masterpiece, if you don’t own this makeup kit, i highly recommend it, it has beautiful eyeshadows that blend easily and are also pigmented, it has a concealer palette, blush palette and lipstick palette, this would make a perfect Christmas gift for someone who loves makeup. I used a mixture of the greens, which resulted in this eye look. Then used a gold shadow to place in my inner tear ducts to make me look more awake. I used some of the green to sweep onto my bottom lash line ever so slightly.

As for the lips i used this gorgeous brown shade from Colourpop called Limbo. If i’ve missed anything out, feel free to click on the video and see how i achieve the entire look.

Thanks for stopping by, if you try this look let me know.

Love, Shaunz xo
